What locations do you serve?
We are based out of North Phoenix, and primarily serve the Phoenix/Scottsdale areas. However, we have set up picnics all around the valley and occasionally in other Arizona locations. Picnics outside of our radius are subject to a travel fee, starting at $20. We will always include this in your quote! In addition, all picnic sites must be relatively accessible by car—due to the amount and weight of our equipment we are unable to hike to picnic destinations.
What is your cancellation policy?
We know that even in the valley of the sun the weather can take a turn. We strongly encourage you to consider the weather when booking your picnic (and we will keep an eye on it, too!) but in the event that you have to cancel or change your reservation, we require a one week cancellation notice in order to receive a full refund of your deposit.
Do you serve alcohol?
Due to Phoenix Parks & Recreation regulations, we do not offer alcohol as a drink option. If you are set on having booze at your picnic, you are able to purchase a daily beer permit. If your picnic is in Scottsdale, the purchase of a wine permit is also available (visit Scottsdale City Code Chapter 20 Article III for more information). If you choose to go this route, we recommend reviewing the guidelines closely to ensure the safety of you and your guests! Backyard picnics are always a cozy option!
Do you allow children?
Of course! Picnics are practically made for families. Our artisan boards are typically not kid-friendly, so we recommend a Little Ones Charcuterie Board as an add-on option! Please include children 2 and older in your guest count and let us know if you are bringing kiddos under 2. We only provide pillow seating so please bring any amenities you need to keep your children comfortable. When considering whether or not to bring your littles, keep in mind that if any equipment is damaged during your picnic, your card will be charged for repairs and/or replacements.
What about pets?
We love dogs as much as we love people... maybe more. You are absolutely welcome to bring your furry friends along to enjoy your picnic (probably not the food, though) as long as they are welcome at your chosen park. Just let us know in the comments when you request your quote so that we have a heads up! A similar caution to bringing kids: you are responsible for any equipment that may get damaged!
